Life Lately
Fool’s spring—what was that?! Mother Nature is a tease, but what a gift it was to feel the sun on our faces. I’ve been in full cleaning mode, and my husband is thoroughly enjoying it. Anyone else get the itch to declutter this time of year?
Lacrosse season has started, which means we’re back on the road chasing the Benedictine Eagles and cheering on our favorite LSM, #44. I’ll admit, I flex a little when I talk about how our son is still playing the sport he loves in college—we are incredibly proud. What are you celebrating right now—vacations, anniversaries, milestones, or quiet personal wins? I’m here for all of it, and I love celebrating alongside you.
Lowering the Guard
A friend and coworker in the ER recently told me that when she first started, she thought I didn’t like her because I didn’t talk much. I reflected on that for a moment and reassured her she wasn’t alone in that experience.
I’ve always walked through life with my guard up. It’s how I learned to protect my heart after being burned in the past. As I’ve grown into a business owner, I’ve had to lower that guard—but only halfway. Many of you understand that feeling, and I believe it’s part of why we’ve connected.
We’re drawn to people who share our energy and intentions. So many of you have broken through my shell and shown me new perspectives. I value all of it—the reserved, the outgoing, and those who move forward without hesitation. Every one of you has taught me something.
Between shifts in the ER and growing GG Aesthetics, I’ve given myself permission to stay grounded and fully present in the roles that matter most—not only as your provider, but as a wife, mom, sister, daughter, and friend. Balance isn’t always perfect, but I’m committed to showing up fully wherever I am.
It may be messy at times—but I’ve always been good at organizing.
Your Skin’s Best Defense: Daily Sun Protection
As we spend more time outdoors, sun protection becomes essential. Your skin is the largest organ in your body, and protecting it should be a priority.
It doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Something as simple as incorporating a daily sunblock into your morning routine can make a significant difference.
Personally, I use PCA Tinted Sunblock every morning. It provides the protection I need while offering a matte finish that allows me to keep my makeup minimal and my skin looking even and healthy.
If you need recommendations, I’m always happy to help guide you.
Ready to Elevate Your Skin? Advanced Chemical Peels
If you’ve experienced basic chemical peels and are ready for deeper correction, the advanced chemical peel offers the next level of transformation.
This treatment works by:
Removing the buildup of dull, damaged skin cells that contribute to uneven tone and texture
Refining and brightening your complexion for clearer, more luminous skin
Stimulating collagen production and accelerating healthy cellular turnover
Enhancing the absorption and effectiveness of your skincare products
This is corrective treatment with purpose—strengthening your skin’s foundation so it performs, heals, and glows at a higher level.
Expect greater exfoliation—and greater results.
Microneedling: Restore, Rebuild, and Strengthen
Microneedling is one of the most effective treatments available for improving skin quality at a deeper level. It activates your body’s natural repair response, allowing your skin to rebuild itself stronger and healthier.
Benefits include:
Stimulating collagen and elastin production to improve firmness and resilience
Softening fine lines and reducing the appearance of acne scars
Refining skin texture and minimizing pore appearance
Improving overall tone for a smoother, more polished complexion
Microneedling is especially effective for treating facial scarring from acne, mole removal, or past injuries.
This is true regenerative treatment—working with your body, not against it.
Liquid Gold Is Back: The Power of PRP
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), often called “Liquid Gold,” uses your body’s own healing power to rejuvenate and restore your skin.
The process begins with a small blood draw. Your blood is then placed into a centrifuge, which separates the platelet-rich plasma from other components. This concentrated plasma—rich in growth factors—is then carefully prepared for injection.
PRP works by:
Stimulating collagen and elastin production
Improving overall skin tone, texture, and quality
Brightening the under-eye area
Softening crepey or thinning skin
Accelerating healing and enhancing results when combined with microneedling
Because PRP uses your own cells, it is extremely safe and well-tolerated—even for individuals with autoimmune conditions.
For optimal results, a series of two treatments spaced approximately eight weeks apart is recommended.
This is regenerative medicine at its most natural level.
